Flight trainings.
On March 26, 2011, a Ukrainian team consisting of pilots Sergey Skalko and Yuriy Baidik, operators Alexander Shevchenko and Yuriy Gorets completed their a test flight as part of the preparation program for the Black Sea Balloon Run.
This time the team commenced their flight on Kubicek BB14 balloon at 05:51 in the town of Khmelnik in the direction of Donetsk (Ukraine).
The flight duration was 12 hours 23 minutes.
The distance covered – 708 km. Altitude – 3000 meters.
This flight set two Ukrainian national records - distance and time in the air.
October 2010. The balloon is in Ukraine. All works well!
The working meeting of the BSBRUN Team was held on June 22-26, 2010 in Sevastopol.
An important questions of cooperation between navigators, meteorologists and radio connection team were under discussion. A test flight with all radio and navigation equipment was also fulfilled.

On March 28, 2010, a Georgian-Ukrainian team consisting of Revaz Uturgauri and Sergey Skalko completed their first test flight as part of the preparation program for the Black Sea Balloon Run.
The team commenced their flight on Kubicek BB42Z balloon at 07:04 in the region of Ulyanovka (Ukraine) in the direction of Kiev. The flight duration was 10 hours 29 minutes.
The distance covered - 122 km. Maximum altitude - 4613 meters.
This flight set one national Ukrainian altitude record and two new national Georgian records - distance and time in the air.
The first working meeting of the Flight Support Team was held on
October 25, 2009.
An important details of the flight were under discussion.
The presentation of The Black Sea Balloon Run project was held in Kiev on October 24, 2009 during the International Balloon meet “Mongolfieria – 2009”. Organizers for the first time announced their aims to colleges and journalists participants of the event.
Summer 2009. The idea of the Black Sea over flight appeared in early summer of 2009 during Kubicek Balloons & Airships Dealers meeting in Belarus.
